Hello!
I'm Sophie, a chef and visual artist dedicated to transcending borders through my work. A storyteller at heart, I'm passionate about food and culture.
I work as the Junior Sous Chef and lead photographer for farm-to-table restaurant The Wild, based in Beacon, NY. When I'm not busy cooking, I freelance as a video editor for Whirligig Pictures and Fluence Education.

I hold a Bachelor's degree from Wellesley College (class of 2022), where I directed, edited and produced my first documentary, Planting Roots, about a Community Supported Agriculture farm in Massachusetts.

I'm currently directing and editing a docuseries about immigrant-run restaurants in the Hudson Valley, the first episode of which will be released in January 2026.

Previously I've interned for French news agency Agence France-Presse, Ecuadorian media company Comidas Que Curan, and Minnesota-based Beer Dabbler.
